George Carter Glass
George Carter Glass was an influential U.S. Senator and Treasury Secretary from Virginia who spearheaded the Federal Reserve Act of 1913. During the Great Depression, he co-authored the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933, creating the FDIC and establishing the separation of commercial and investment banking.
