Yue Fei
Yue Fei was a legendary Southern Song general celebrated for his fierce resistance against the Jurchen Jin invaders. Commanding the highly disciplined Yue Family Army, he achieved major battlefield victories in a bid to reclaim lost northern territories. However, his successful campaigns were halted by court factions favoring appeasement. Framed for treason by Prime Minister Qin Hui, Yue Fei was executed in 1142, becoming an enduring symbol of loyalty.
