Anton Bruckner and the Monumental Symphony

Anton Bruckner was an Austrian organist and composer renowned for his grand, deeply religious symphonies and sacred music. Combining massive orchestral scales, rich harmony, and complex counterpoint influenced by Wagner, he created a unique symphonic language, though his frequent revisions led to complex version histories known as the Bruckner Problem.
