Samuel Adams: Leader of Revolutionary Resistance

Samuel Adams (1722–1803) was a politician from the Massachusetts Bay Colony and a central figure who led the American independence movement. As a member of the Sons of Liberty, he organized anti-British movements and was known for inciting popular resistance. In particular, he was heavily involved in shaping the background of the Boston Tea Party, decisively deepening the conflict with Great Britain. After the American Revolutionary War, he served as Governor of Massachusetts and contributed to forming the political foundation of the new nation.
