Edward Mandell House
Edward Mandell House was a diplomatic advisor who supported the Woodrow Wilson administration, deeply involved in American diplomacy during World War I. Commonly known as "Colonel House," he served as a coordinator for unofficial diplomacy with European nations and peace planning. He influenced the Fourteen Points and the League of Nations concept, and served as a central figure of the U.S. delegation at the 1919 Paris Peace Conference.
