Samuel Adams: Revolutionary Leader

Samuel Adams (1722–1803) was a politician from the Province of Massachusetts Bay and one of the central figures who led the American independence movement. As a member of the Sons of Liberty, he organized anti-British movements and was known for inciting popular resistance. He was particularly involved in setting the stage for the Boston Tea Party, decisively deepening the conflict with Great Britain. Following the American Revolutionary War, he served as Governor of Massachusetts and contributed to forming the political foundation of the new nation.
